I have to say it feels as though things have been slow in the world of basketball over these past couple of days, but of course, since its still THE summer of free agency, a few moves here and there do still exist to be reported.
-Tracy McGrady worked out with the Bulls today, and though Sam Smith seems to think that its more than likely the Bulls won't be adding him to their roster, the official decision is still up in the air (as is my opinion as I was first opposed to it, thinking he is past his prime, but am now warming up to the idea since he could be a good mentor for Derrick Rose, a la Lindsey Hunter...)
-Tim Thomas wishes to return to the Dallas Mavs.
-New Orleans Hornets make it very clear, both on their own, and during today's meeting with Chris Paul, that they do not want to trade him (but as we all know, this means little to nothing, and CP3 may be gone in the blink of an eye with the right type of negotiation).
-Cleveland Cavaliers send Delonte West to the Minnesota Timberwolves for Ramon Sessions (which tickles me only because I always relate Michael Beasley and Delonte West to one another, so I can't wait to have them play together).
-Boston Celtics resign Marquis Daniels.
-Toronto Raptors officially sign Linas Kleiza.
-Jamal Crawford wants to extend his contract with the Atlanta Hawks.
Yup, told you its been pretty dead. T-Mac working out for the Bulls could potentially turn into exciting news, as could CP3's wish to play elsewhere than New Orleans, but for now, neither of those stories have endings, and so today's posting remains slightly dull. My apologies. Still have to love this league and this game though. At least I do. No matter what.
