2010 NBA Free Agency July 4th.

First off, I want to wish everyone a happy 4th of July. Hopefully all of you spent the day BBQing and the night watching fireworks. I personally substituted the first activity with some shopping but no one is a sucker for a light show like me. Anyways, moving on to the basketball news of the day, the 4th was pretty slow in terms of news, which seeing as it was a holiday, was to be expected. Here are the few things that did go on though:

-Joe Johnson decides to stay with his original team, the Atlanta Hawks, after a $119 million, 6 year deal, was put on the table. (I don't think anyone doubted this move after hearing the amount of money the Hawks were offering).
-Rumors say that Lebron James wants to wait until after his Akron camp finishes up to announce his decision (meaning Wednesday night at the earliest).

Sadly, at least to my knowledge, this was all the happenings of July 4th. I hope today makes for a better blog post tomorrow...
