Sadly Monday was yet another slow day in the world of free agency, as I'm assuming like in a handful of workplaces, the holiday extended one extra day in the NBA. However, this is what did go down:
-New York Knicks "finalize" (and I say this in quotes, as no papers can be signed until July 8th) their 5 year, $99.7 million deal with Amare Stoudemire.
-Atlanta Hawks, Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavs show interest in Shaq.
-Denver Nuggets offer Carmelo Anthony a 3 year, $65 million deal (and while I want Melo to stay in Denver, I think this offer is a bit low compared to all the other deals being made recently).
As far as I know, these are Monday's only major headlines. I've already stumbled across some interesting deals and rumors today though, so hopefully tomorrow's post will be more juicy...
