2010 NBA Free Agency: August 5th-August 9th.

Unfortunately for both you and I, this is going to be another one of those posts that are short, dry, and lacking of almost any news. However, the good news is with every day that goes by, we get closer to basketball season, and that, at least to me, is whats really important.

-Chicago Bulls sign guard Keith Bogans to a 2 year, $2.5 billion deal (and word on the street is they aren't done just yet, looking to pick up another guard, or possibly even two).
-Detroit Pistons are said to be interested in Tracy McGrady.
-Boston Celtics apparently want Larry Hughes (this both makes me happy and sad as everyone knows I'm not a Celtics supporter but at the same time I know they will once ago make it far into the Playoffs, giving Hughes great opportunities...)
-Los Angeles Lakers resign Shannon Brown.
-Chicago Bulls are rumored to want to give Joakim Noah an extension (I hope this actually goes down cause he has been incredible for them these past two seasons and letting him go would be a huge mistake).

As far as I'm concerned, thats all the big stuff that has been going on over the past few days. Still no word on whats going to happen to AI, still no progress in getting Rudy Fernandez traded, and still slow as all hell. But hey, like I said, before we know it summer will be over, fall will roll in, and the games will start up again.
